I just had 2 split systems installed,(1) 3.5 hp split reverse cycle which works beautifully,and a 1.5 hp which is very DISAPPOINTING,the 1.5 split reverse cycle can not even cool a hall way that is 5 metres long by 1.2 metres wide after 3 hours of use on 16 degrees,your stats show that it is capable of 12 to 25 metres squared for cooling,might as well have bought a hand held fan would do a better job

Thank you for your feedback. If your 1.5hp split system air conditioner is not cooling an area of approximatley 12-25m2 then you may need to ask your installer to come back and check over the installation. How long is the pipe run? If it is longer than 5m then your installer may need to add some refrigerant. If your installer has made an error when installing the system the refrigerant gas may have leaked out of the system and will therefore not cool effectively.

Please contact your installer and ask them to come back and inspect the system.
